If you decide to stay permanently in Saskatchewan after graduation, you may apply for permanent resident status through the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program.

To apply for permanent resident status under the SINP, you must:

1. Graduate from a recognized program with at least one year of study,

2. Work in Saskatchewan for at least six months with a work permit, and

3. Have a job offer from a Saskatchewan employer for permanent, full-time employment.

Note: The job offer does not have to relate to your course of study and that on-campus and off-campus work are eligible.

This is different than any other province in Canada, where one must have worked for one year in a full-time job in the area of study, eg. if you studies accounting you must work for one year in accounting.
