Saskatchewan's has four distinct seasons – spring, summer, fall and winter – and temperatures can fluctuate dramatically.
Saskatchewan summers are usually warm and dry. High temperatures range from 15 C in May to the mid-30s C in July and August – the cool nights are welcomed after a day in the sun at 35 C.
Saskatchewan averages the most sunshine of any Canadian province. Winter normally begins in November and temperatures generally remain below 0 C. Mild spring weather usually begins by April.
